Arena Place, Theatre and office complex in Sharpstown, US
Arena Place is a mixed-use complex with two 19-story office towers and a circular theatre building in the Sharpstown area of Houston. Each tower contains approximately 390,000 square feet of office and commercial space, while the theatre seats about 2,850 people.
The theatre opened in 1965 with backing from entertainer Bob Hope, who invested in arts venues across the country. The office towers were added later in the early 1980s, transforming the site into a larger mixed-use development.
The theatre hosts a year-round program of performances and serves as a key venue for live music and performing arts in the city. Visitors will find regular shows and can experience the local arts scene directly.
The complex includes two nine-story parking garages with roughly 2,200 spaces and direct highway access for convenient arrival by car. Getting there is straightforward since major roads connect directly to the property.
The circular theatre design was intentionally created so that no seat sits farther than about 65 feet from the stage. This ensures viewers enjoy a close connection to the performers regardless of where they are seated.
