Husky Stadium

Husky Stadium is a football facility at Houston Christian University featuring a modern grandstand on its western side. The structure includes more than 5000 seats with varying comfort levels, including chairs with backrests for premium viewing, plus dedicated media boxes for broadcasters.

Construction of the stadium began in 2013 and was completed in 2014 by professional architects and builders. The project represented a major investment in modernizing the university's athletic facilities for the growing program.

The stadium honors supporters who helped build it through major donations to the university. It serves as a gathering place where the campus community comes together for games and demonstrates local commitment to college athletics.

The facility is located on Fondren Road in the western part of the city and is accessible by car. Arriving early gives you time to get oriented and find convenient parking near the entrance.

The playing surface uses specialized artificial turf that was already in use for practice before the grandstands were constructed. This dual-purpose setup allowed the field to serve athletes right away while building continued around it.
