BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Houston

The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir spans 11,500 square feet with a 73-foot height, featuring Italian marble and Turkish limestone carved elements throughout its structure.

The construction of this temple began in March 2002 and required 3,000 craftsmen in India to carve over 33,000 pieces before its inauguration in 2004.

The temple holds daily ceremonies including Shangar, Rajbhog, and Sandhya Arti, where devotees gather to participate in traditional Hindu worship practices.

Visitors can access the temple from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with free admission and required removal of shoes before entering.

The entire structure follows traditional Hindu architectural principles without using iron or steel, relying solely on precisely fitted stone components.
