1200 Travis

1200 Travis is a 28-story office building in Downtown Houston reaching about 386 feet in height. It now houses police administrative offices, a large crime laboratory, a fitness center, a tactical command center, and a fingerprinting laboratory for law enforcement operations.

The building was originally constructed in 1967 as an energy company headquarters. The City of Houston acquired it in 1994 and conducted major renovations to convert it into police headquarters.

The building serves as a central hub for law enforcement operations, housing administrative offices and specialized facilities for the Houston Police Department.
