SplashTown Houston is a water park north of Houston in Spring, Texas, on land that held the Hanna-Barbera Land theme park in the early 1980s. When that park's rides were removed, the new owners installed water slides, and much of the Victorian-style buildings, street lights and landscaping remained. It opened as Splashtown USA and has operated since 1984.

The site first held Hanna-Barbera Land, a theme park that ran only two seasons before Kings Entertainment Company sold it to private investors, who removed the rides and opened Splashtown USA in 1984. The Morris family bought the park in 1994, and Six Flags acquired it in May 1999 to remove a competitor to its WaterWorld park. Rebranded Six Flags SplashTown for 2005, it passed through CNL, Premier Parks and EPR before Six Flags took over management again in 2018 and renamed it Hurricane Harbor Splashtown in 2019.

The park's name traces back to Splashtown USA, opened in 1984 on the former Hanna-Barbera Land site; Victorian buildings, street lamps and landscaping from that earlier park were kept. Visitors today ride relocated WaterWorld attractions and pass the rebuilt entrance sign installed for the April 28, 2006 opening.

The park gets quite crowded during summer, so arriving early helps you avoid long waits at attractions. Parking areas are available on-site, and food options are scattered throughout the grounds for convenience.

The park includes separate zones designed for different age groups, from splash areas for toddlers to fast-paced slides for thrill-seekers. This layout allows families with children of varying ages to enjoy the park together without one group feeling left out.
