Reunion Tower, Observation tower in downtown Dallas, United States
Reunion Tower is an observation tower in downtown Dallas, United States. The cylindrical shaft supports a geodesic dome sphere with three circular floors and views across Dallas and beyond.
The tower opened in April 1978 as part of an urban renewal program that restored the historic Union Station railway terminal. Construction took two years and linked modern architecture to the renovated train station grounds.
Locals know the glowing sphere as a landmark and city symbol on the horizon. The LED dome shifts colors for community events, sports victories, and seasonal moments.
Visitors reach the observation level by glass-walled elevators that provide open views during the 68-second ascent. The top floor is fully enclosed and climate-controlled, allowing comfortable exploration of the 360-degree views.
The GeO-Deck observation level includes high-definition cameras, interactive screens, and telescopes for exploring Dallas landmarks. The technology also creates digital guest profiles to commemorate the visit.
