The San Jacinto Building is a 15-story office structure topped by a distinctive clock tower at Orleans Street. The tower displays four large clock faces, one visible from each direction around the building.
The structure was built from 1921 to 1922 following designs by architects Sanguinet and Staats. It originally housed the San Jacinto Life Insurance Company and gained historic protection status in 1978.
The building is a defining landmark of Beaumont's historic commercial quarter. It represents the period when the city thrived as a regional business hub.
