The Hayworth Theatre stands at 2511 Wilshire Boulevard, featuring Spanish Colonial Revival architecture with a main auditorium that seats 198 guests.
Architect Stiles O. Clements designed this building in 1926 as The Masque Theatre, which later transformed into the Vagabond Theatre during the 1950s.
The venue now operates as Dynasty Typewriter, presenting comedy performances from established performers including Adam Sandler, Patton Oswalt, and Margaret Cho.
The second floor contains office spaces, while the main floor maintains its original projection booth and continues to host live performances throughout the year.
During its time as the Vagabond Theatre, the building contained murals of silent films and housed what might have been Los Angeles' first Tiki bar.
