Pitbull Stadium, Soccer stadium in Miami, United States
Pitbull Stadium is a soccer stadium in Miami-Dade County, United States, located on the campus of Florida International University. The stands surround a synthetic turf field, while covered sections provide shade for spectators on sunny days.
The facility opened in 1995 with a capacity of 7,500 seats and was originally designed for college football games. Several expansions over the following decades brought the total capacity to around 20,000 seats.
The venue serves as home ground for the Florida International University football team and hosts Miami FC matches during their respective seasons. On game days, students and fans from across the city gather in team colors and create a lively mood in the stands.
Parking lots typically open six hours before kickoff, with designated areas reserved for tailgating before the game. Several bus routes connect the stadium to downtown Miami and surrounding neighborhoods.
Cuban-American singer Pitbull acquired the naming rights in 2017 after previously performing at the stadium during a concert tour. The playing field later served as a filming location for an official World Cup music video.
