Metropolis at Dadeland, Residential skyscraper in Dadeland, Florida, US
Metropolis at Dadeland consists of two matching towers with 28 floors that house residential units and ground-level retail spaces. The complex reaches 313 feet (95 meters) high and includes nine levels of parking along with loft-style apartments spread across multiple upper floors.
Construction started in November 2003 under Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolf & Associates and finished in 2006. The project helped shape Dadeland's growth by introducing modern residential towers to Miami's suburban landscape.
The towers blend residential units with street-level shops, showing how Miami neighborhoods mix living spaces with local commerce.
The eighth floor holds amenities including two swimming pools, gender-separated saunas, a library, and a fitness center for residents. Ground-level retail areas have good pedestrian access and parking availability for shoppers and visitors.
The lower floors two through seven feature loft-style units that stand apart from the standard apartments in the higher levels. This mix of housing types combined with nine parking levels shows a practical approach to making full use of space in an urban setting.
