Bayside Marketplace

Bayside Marketplace is a two-story retail center sitting along Biscayne Bay downtown with more than 150 shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Most of these businesses face the water and Miami skyline, combining shopping with waterfront views.

The marketplace opened in 1987 as part of a downtown waterfront development project to create a shopping center near the port. This project helped revitalize the waterfront and establish a new gathering place for locals and visitors.

Musicians perform Caribbean and Latin American music throughout the marketplace, reflecting the deep cultural roots of South Florida. These performances happen at different spots and show how local traditions shape the atmosphere here.

The marketplace operates daily and sits close to the port with direct access to parking and water taxi services. Arriving earlier in the day helps visitors walk around comfortably and explore the shops without feeling crowded.

Speedboats and sightseeing vessels depart every hour from the docks, offering tours past celebrity homes on nearby islands. These boat rides give a peek into the more exclusive side of Miami.
