New World Tower is a 357-foot tall structure with 30 floors of office space and ground-level commercial areas along Biscayne Boulevard. The building features a vertical arrangement with seven elevators connecting all levels and an adjacent parking garage for daily operations.
Construction began in October 1963 under developer Jose Ferré and was completed in 1965 by the architectural firm Rader and Associates. The building arrived during Miami's rapid expansion period when the downtown area was undergoing major modernization.
The tower's name changed from New World Tower and 100 Biscayne Tower to 100 Biscayne. Its architect called the 1965 design "a very modern but conservative design which will wear exceptionally well throughout the years." Developer Jose Ferré was the father of Maurice Ferré, a former mayor of Miami.
The building offers convenient access with seven elevators serving all levels throughout the structure. An adjacent twelve-story parking garage provides ample vehicle storage for visitors and tenants.
