Southeast Financial Center

The Southeast Financial Center reaches a height of 233 meters with its 55 floors and floor-to-ceiling windows providing views across Miami.

The construction of this office tower began in 1981 and marked its completion in 1984, becoming the tallest building south of New York City at that time.

The building changed names multiple times, reflecting the evolving financial landscape: First Union Financial Center in 1992 and Wachovia Financial Center in 2003.

The structure includes a 15-story parking garage, 43 elevators, and 22,000 square feet of office space per floor with direct access to Interstate 95.

Spanish entrepreneur Amancio Ortega acquired the building in 2016 for over 500 million dollars, setting a record in South Florida real estate transactions.
