Central Baptist Church stands at 500 Northeast 1st Avenue in downtown Miami, a Neoclassical building completed in 1925 and designed by architect Edward Bennett Dougherty. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on January 4, 1989. The church sits within walking distance of the Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre Metrorail station.
