Belle Isle, city in Florida, United States
Belle Isle is a small city in Orange County in central Florida, located roughly 10 kilometers (6 miles) southeast of Orlando. The city covers less than 10 square kilometers (less than 6 square miles), with about half being water, including Lake Conway and portions of Little Lake Conway.

Belle Isle takes its name from an island that inspired early founders. Water-centered living shapes the community, with residents gathering at lakes for fishing, boating, and informal meetings that strengthen neighborhood bonds.
Belle Isle is easily accessible by car and sits near Orlando International Airport, making arrival convenient. The city is small enough to explore on foot or by bicycle, with lakeshores and parks serving as good reference points for navigation.
The city was founded with the deliberate purpose of protecting the lake system, making it an early example of environmentally-focused urban planning. This founding philosophy still shapes how the town is managed and residents' awareness of preserving the natural surroundings.
