The Museum of Art - DeLand occupies a 23,000-square-foot arts facility completed in 1991, next to the Evans C. and Betty Drees Johnson Children's Art Center, which opened in 2010. In 2013 it added 2,970 square feet of modern gallery space and a 2,239-square-foot Museum Store at 100 N. Woodland Boulevard in historic downtown DeLand.

The museum was established in 1951 by the American Association of University Women.
