Flea World

Flea World was a large marketplace spanning about 104 acres with over 1,700 vendor stalls across the property. The site offered antiques, furniture, clothing, and various household goods all in one location.

The market opened in 1981 and operated until 2016, becoming one of Central Florida's largest venues for second-hand goods. During those 35 years, it established itself as a major hub for trading collectibles and vintage items in the region.

Local vendors and collectors gathered here on weekends to trade rare items, vintage furniture, and household goods with bargain hunters. The place served as a meeting point where buyers could hunt for second-hand treasures and sellers could connect with customers looking for specific finds.

The best times to visit were Friday through Sunday afternoons when most stalls were open and parking was available. The sprawling site required comfortable shoes, and visitors should allow time to explore all areas since the space was spread out across a large property.

The market was divided into separate zones with air-conditioned indoor sections and multiple covered pavilions that provided shelter from the sun. This mix of covered and open spaces allowed vendors and buyers to work and shop comfortably regardless of weather conditions.
