The Abbeville Opera House, also called the Abbeville Opera House and Municipal Office Building, stands in Abbeville, South Carolina. William Augustus Edwards of Edwards and Wilson designed it; it opened in 1904 and was dedicated in 1908. The theatre seats 218, with 92 more in the balcony, and its stage covers 7,800 square feet (720 m2).

At the turn of the 20th century, touring road companies traveling from New York to Richmond to Atlanta stopped overnight in Abbeville, prompting residents to sponsor their productions. The building, designed by William Augustus Edwards of Edwards and Wilson, opened in 1904 and was dedicated in 1908 alongside the new Abbeville County Courthouse and City Hall. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 1, 1970.

The theatre was designated the Official Rural Drama State Theatre of South Carolina by the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism, which also gave it the Governor's Travel Award for Tourism. It forms part of the Abbeville Historic District, and its stage hosted vaudeville acts during that genre's heyday.
