Mills Building, Chicago School skyscraper at Montgomery Street, San Francisco, United States.

The Mills Building reaches 154 feet in height with a facade combining white Inyo marble and classical architectural elements at its base section.

Constructed in 1892 by architect firm Burnham and Root, the structure withstood the 1906 earthquake but required interior reconstruction after the subsequent fire.

The Montgomery Street entrance features a two-story archway with marble Corinthian columns, demonstrating the influence of Richardson-Romanesque architecture in California.

The building includes modern office spaces, conference facilities, tenant lounges, bike storage, and direct access to BART and MUNI transportation services.

The structure remains the last example of early twentieth-century Chicago School architecture on the West Coast of the United States.
