Isleton, Historic river town in Sacramento County, United States.

Isleton sits on Andrus Island within the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, surrounded by agricultural fields and water channels at three meters elevation.

Founded in 1874 by Josiah Poole with a wharf on the Sacramento River, Isleton received official incorporation as a city in 1923.

The main street holds two distinct districts, with Chinese businesses on the west side and Japanese establishments on the east side.

The city provides emergency services through the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, with direct contact available at 916-874-5111 for non-emergency situations.

Three canneries operated in and near Isleton during its agricultural peak, processing local produce with a workforce predominantly of Asian descent.
