Lake Siskiyou, Reservoir near Mount Shasta, California, US
Lake Siskiyou spans 430 acres at the foot of Mount Shasta, formed by Box Canyon Dam on the Sacramento River at 3,185 feet elevation.
The completion of a walking bridge over Wagon Creek inlet in 2010 created a complete trail circuit around the lake with funding from multiple sources.
The lake functions as a central recreational space where families participate in activities such as swimming, boating, and fishing throughout the warmer months.
The Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort operates from April to November, offering accommodation options including cabins, tent sites, and RV facilities with boat rentals.
The 6.5-mile trail loop includes seasonal bridges that are removed in October and reinstalled in May due to winter conditions.
