Squilchuck State Park

Squilchuck State Park is a mountain recreation area covering about 250 acres at roughly 3,000 feet elevation in Chelan County. The land features forested slopes and offers trails for mountain bikers and hikers exploring wooded terrain.

Washington State Parks established this area in 1952 as a protected space for outdoor recreation. The creation marked the start of its role as a public destination for the community.

The name Squilchuck comes from Native American languages and connects this place to the indigenous roots of the Chelan County region.

The visitor area offers orientation and information about available trails and activities. Spring through fall offers the best conditions for walking these paths without snow or muddy terrain.

The grounds feature a group camping area with a lodge building that accommodates large gatherings. This setup makes the location appealing for clubs and organizations planning shared outdoor events.
