Indian Arm Provincial Park

Say Nuth Khaw Yum Provincial Park extends along an 18-kilometer fjord with granite cliffs, dense forests, and seasonal waterfalls cascading into Indian Arm.

The park received its official designation in 1995 through the BC Government's Lower Mainland Nature Legacy Program, establishing protection for 6,826 hectares of land.

The Tsleil-Waututh Nation maintains strong connections to this territory, demonstrated by their 1998 management agreement with the provincial government for joint park administration.

Visitors access the park primarily by water, with opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and camping at designated spots near Granite Falls and Bishop Creek.

The park contains multiple archaeological sites, seventy-nine bird species, and witnesses an odd-year salmon run starting each July in the Indian River estuary.
