LDS Conference Center, Religious conference center in Salt Lake City, United States.
The Conference Center features a 21,000-seat auditorium, multiple conference halls, and rooftop gardens spanning 1.4 million square feet in downtown Salt Lake City.
The Conference Center, completed in 2000, replaced the Salt Lake Tabernacle as the main gathering location for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints events.
The facility houses a 7,708-pipe Schoenstein organ and serves as the performance venue for the 360-member Tabernacle Choir during general conferences.
The Conference Center includes an 850-seat theater, translation facilities for over 90 languages, and complete wheelchair accessibility throughout the building.
The building contains enough granite from Little Cottonwood Canyon to match the nearby Salt Lake Temple, creating architectural harmony between these religious structures.
