Church History Museum

The Church History Museum is a multistory museum building in Salt Lake City dedicated to documenting the development of this faith community since its founding in the 1800s. The institution opened in 1984 and replaced earlier facilities that operated on Temple Square beginning in the early 1900s. This move allowed the organization to expand its collections and reach a wider audience with its documentation.
