Finley Point State Park

The 28-acre state park features mature conifer forests along the southeastern shore of Flathead Lake, offering campsites and boat facilities for outdoor activities.

Montana established this state park in 1965 to provide public access to Flathead Lake, leading to continuous improvements of its recreational facilities over decades.

The park operates within the Flathead Reservation boundaries, requiring visitors to obtain specific tribal permits for fishing and following traditional land management practices.

The park contains eighteen RV sites with electrical hookups, seven tent-only areas, and sixteen boat slips that accommodate vessels up to twenty-five feet long.

Rangers conduct evening interpretive programs about local wildlife and natural history, which registered campers can attend without additional charges.
