Kananaskis Country Golf Course

Located in the Canadian Rockies, this 36-hole golf course features two distinct layouts called Mt. Lorette and Mt. Kidd, each offering glacier-fed creeks and ponds.

The golf course opened in 1983 with a $25.5 million investment from Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund during Premier Peter Lougheed's administration.

The facility attracts primarily Alberta residents, who represent eighty-five percent of the sixty thousand annual rounds played on these mountain courses.

Players can select from six different tee positions on each hole, with online reservations available through the Club Prophet Systems at kananaskisgolf.com.

The Kananaskis River flows through both courses, while over 120 silica sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout the fairways and bent grass greens.
