Kananaskis Country Golf Course

Kananaskis Country Golf Course is a 36-hole facility in the Canadian Rockies with two distinct courses called Mt. Lorette and Mt. Kidd. Both layouts feature glacier-fed waterways, bunkers filled with silica sand, and bent grass greens set across the mountainous terrain.

The course opened in 1983 as part of regional development efforts funded by Alberta's provincial investment programs. This timing helped establish Kananaskis as a destination for outdoor recreation and sports.
