Originally named the Medical Arts Building, this structure opened in 1923 and maintained its status as Oklahoma City's tallest building for two decades.
The building incorporates Art Deco design elements including spheres, polygons, rectangles, trapezoids, zigzags, chevrons, and sunburst patterns across its facade.
