BOK Park Plaza, Office tower in Oklahoma City, US
BOK Park Plaza is an office tower in Oklahoma City standing 433 feet (132 meters) tall with 27 floors, completely wrapped in transparent glass. The building connects two parking structures holding 2,200 vehicles and links to neighboring buildings through sky bridges.
Construction began in 2015 and finished in 2018, marking the city's first speculative office development in 30 years. This project represented a major turning point in Oklahoma City's building momentum after a long period without such large-scale office developments.
Materials from the former Union Bus Station, Auto Hotel, and Hotel Black were incorporated into the building design, preserving pieces of local architectural history. Walking around the base, visitors can see these recycled elements woven into the structure, creating a connection between past and present.
The building features two parking structures and sky bridge connections to nearby buildings, making navigation straightforward for visitors. The all-glass exterior means the interior spaces change in appearance throughout the day depending on light and weather conditions.
The crown at the top of the building is 40 feet (12 meters) tall and changes color at night, making it stand out on the Oklahoma City skyline. This glowing feature allows the structure to transform its appearance and mark different occasions in the city.
