Pythian Building, Art Deco office building in downtown Tulsa, United States.
The Pythian Building features seven east-west and five north-south bays divided by vertical piers with diamond patterns and blue terra cotta accents on spandrels.
Construction began in 1929 as the Gillette-Tyrrell Building, but the Great Depression halted work until the Knights of Pythias purchased and completed it.
The interior includes an L-shaped lobby with a geometric floor pattern extending up the walls and an innovative lighting fixture resembling a skylight.
The building contains multiple office spaces with entrances from both West 5th Street and South Boulder Avenue in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The structure represents a combination of Modern and Zig Zag Art Deco designs and received National Register of Historic Places designation in 1982.
