Schärding District, Administrative district in Upper Austria, Austria
Schärding District is an administrative area with around 30 municipalities located between the German border and the Inn River in northern Upper Austria. The territory covers approximately 618 square kilometers and connects several different towns and rural areas.
The district emerged from administrative reforms during the Habsburg period to improve government efficiency. The town of Schärding itself was an important medieval trade center that shaped the region's development.
