Hellbrunn Palace, Baroque palace and museum in Salzburg, Austria.

The seventeenth-century palace features Italian-style gardens, decorated halls, and intricate water fountains spread across extensive landscaped grounds.

Italian architect Santino Solari constructed the palace between 1613 and 1615 for Prince-Archbishop Markus Sittikus von Hohenems as a summer residence.

The palace rooms display Renaissance frescoes, period furniture, and architectural elements that represent the wealth of Salzburg's religious rulers.

Guided tours in multiple languages take visitors through the palace and water fountains daily from April to November, with extended hours during summer months.

The mechanical water features include hidden fountains that spray unsuspecting visitors, continuing a 400-year-old tradition of entertainment and surprise.
