Imarat Stadium

Imarat Stadium is a multi-purpose facility in Aghdam undergoing construction with a planned capacity of 11,700 spectators. The complex covers 19.2 hectares and meets UEFA's fourth category requirements for hosting international matches.

The original stadium was built in 1952 and served Qarabag FK as its home ground for decades. It was completely destroyed during military operations in 1993 and is now being reconstructed as part of regional recovery efforts.

The name Imarat carries deep meaning in local football culture, as the largest fan group of Qarabag FK adopted it for their organization. This connection reflects how the stadium's identity is woven into the community's sense of belonging.

Construction began in September 2024 and will take several years to complete, so the facility is not yet open to visitors. Check for current updates on progress and opening timelines before planning a visit.
