SOFAZ Tower, 140-meter skyscraper in Nizami district, Baku, Azerbaijan.
SOFAZ Tower is a 24-floor skyscraper with double glass facade in Baku's Nizami district. The building provides approximately 27,000 square meters of office space distributed across its levels plus two underground floors.
Construction began in 2011 following a land transfer approved by Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers. President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation stone that same year.
Interior spaces feature Azerbaijani design elements mixed with modern materials and forms. Visitors notice how local traditions are interpreted through contemporary architecture throughout the building.
The building contains a conference hall for 200 people, meeting rooms, restaurants, and a library. Parking is available for around 150 vehicles across six underground levels.
Construction was supervised by American company AECOM. The French architectural firm Inter Art Etudes served as the project's design firm for this major building venture.
