Baku Museum of Modern Art

The museum contains over 800 artworks displayed along open passages and angled walls that create multidimensional viewing perspectives for visitors.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation established this cultural institution on March 20, 2009, under the initiative of First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

The collection presents works from Azerbaijani avant-garde artists of the 1960s and 1970s, including Rasim Babayev, alongside pieces by Picasso and Dali.

The facility includes a children's art department, video hall, café, restaurant, exhibition spaces, library, and bookstore focused on world art.

The building design eliminates traditional corridors in favor of metallic structures and white surfaces that merge to form an interconnected exhibition space.
