The 3.5-meter granite monument features Gara Garayev's figure positioned behind the Nizami cinema, adjacent to the Baku Music Academy.
The monument, inaugurated in 2014, commemorates Gara Garayev, who composed 110 musical pieces and received two Stalin Prizes during his lifetime.
The sculpture incorporates decorative elements representing literary characters from Don Quixote and Majnun, reflecting the composer's musical interpretations.
Visitors can reach the monument by following directions to the Nizami cinema or Baku Music Academy, near the composer's former residence.
Sculptor Fazil Najafov spent three years studying Garayev's music and life before finalizing the design that captures both his likeness and musical essence.
