Cave of Lorette-Rochefort, Limestone cave in Rochefort, Belgium.

The Cave of Lorette-Rochefort extends 6,595 meters underground, featuring vertical passages that lead visitors through multiple chambers and geological formations.

Alphonse Collignon discovered the cave system in 1865, and renowned speleologist E. A. Martel conducted significant explorations of the passages in May 1888.

Scientific researchers at the Val d'Enfer laboratory study the cave's geological characteristics, contributing to the understanding of Belgian karst formations.

Tours operate seasonally from March to November, with guided visits lasting 75 minutes and accommodating groups of up to 25 people at temperatures of 8°C.

Guides demonstrate the cave's dimensions by launching a small hot air balloon inside the Sabbath Room, accompanied by LED light and sound effects.
