Pashovi skali, природна забележителност
Pashovi skali is a group of large rock formations positioned above surrounding fields with sweeping views of the landscape. The stones rise prominently and display varied layers and shapes, with an observation platform at the top offering views of the Rhodope Mountains and nearby villages.
The rocks formed over thousands of years through erosion and natural forces that shaped their present form. In 1981 they were declared a natural monument, recognizing their importance as a significant natural feature in the region.
The rocks serve as a gathering place where locals come for walks and quiet reflection. People collect herbs and plants that grow in the area, and small community celebrations occur here during spring and summer months.
The site is most easily reached from Yundola village with two marked trails that take 40 to 60 minutes each. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and plan your visit for early morning or late afternoon when the sun is less harsh and conditions are more pleasant.
Local legends speak of treasures hidden beneath the stones, and some visitors report strange sounds and movements while walking in the area. Many people believe the location holds hidden energy that can bring clarity and peace to those who seek reflection.
