Oastler Lake Provincial Park

Oastler Lake Provincial Park is a protected recreation area situated along the Boyne River and Oastler Lake with waterfront access. The grounds feature camping facilities and offer opportunities for canoeing and fishing throughout the landscape.

Ontario's government officially designated this location as a provincial park in 1967, adding it to the network of protected spaces across Central Ontario. That decision helped secure the land and water resources for long-term preservation and public use.

Fishing enthusiasts spend time at the lake catching rainbow trout, pike, and bass throughout the season. It is a popular pastime for both locals and visitors exploring the waterways.

The park is accessible from May through October, making it best visited during warmer months when the grounds are fully operational. Visitors can find camping spots, rent canoes, and easily access nearby recreational trails for exploring the wider region.

An active railway line runs near the camping areas and waterfront zones, blending outdoor recreation with the region's rail history. Visitors sometimes hear train sounds while enjoying the natural surroundings.
