Che Kung Miu, Taoist temple in Sha Tin District, Hong Kong
The temple features traditional Chinese architecture with green glazed ceramic tiles, intricate carvings, and a large statue of General Che Kung inside.
Built during the late Ming Dynasty, the temple expanded in 1994 to accommodate increasing visitors, with the new structure measuring eight times larger than before.
During the Lunar New Year period, thousands of people visit to spin the fan-bladed wheel of fortune and light incense sticks for good fortune.
Located in Tai Wai, the temple opens daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering free admission with optional donations for maintenance purposes.
Four annual Che Kung Festivals take place at the temple, with the main celebration occurring on the second day of the lunar month.
