Hau Wong Temple, Tai Wai Village

Hau Wong Temple is a Chinese shrine in Tai Wai Village featuring traditional curved roofs, stone walls, and ornate decorative details throughout the structure. The interior contains altars, carved elements, and furnishings arranged for worship and ceremonial purposes.

The temple was originally built outside the village walls before being relocated to its current location during the Xianfeng period between 1850 and 1861. This move brought it closer to the heart of Tai Wai Village as the settlement expanded.
