Sha Tin Town Hall

Sha Tin Town Hall is a performing arts complex featuring a main auditorium with 1,372 seats, a recreation hall with 300 seats, and a 378-square-meter exhibition gallery. The facility also houses dance studios, music practice rooms, lecture halls, and conference spaces that support a wide range of artistic activities in one location.

The complex opened in January 1987 as a major addition to Sha Tin's cultural infrastructure. Management transferred from the Regional Council to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, shaping the cultural offerings of the district since then.

The venue hosts dance performances, theatrical productions, music concerts, and art exhibitions throughout the year, reflecting the diverse interests of the local community. Visitors can experience both local and international artists while educational workshops help nurture creative engagement with the surrounding population.

The venue is located on Yuen Wo Road and provides barrier-free access with automatic doors, elevators, and accessible restrooms for all visitors. Designated parking spaces for disabled visitors are also available, making it convenient for people with different mobility needs.
