Jingyue Yangtze River Bridge

Jingyue Yangtze River Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that crosses the river between Jianli and Yueyang, connecting Hubei and Hunan provinces. Six lanes carry vehicles across the water on a steel structure designed for high-capacity traffic flow.

Construction of the bridge began in the early 2010s as part of regional infrastructure development. Its completion created a direct link between two provinces that previously had limited road connections across the river.

The bridge design incorporates elements of modern Chinese engineering practices while connecting the distinct communities of Jianli County and Yueyang across provincial borders.

The bridge offers multiple lanes for cars and trucks with good visibility across the water. Expect regular traffic flow, especially during peak hours if you plan to cross.

The structure rises significantly above the river, making it one of the more striking crossings in the region. From the bridge, travelers can experience the scale of the Yangtze and the landscape on both sides.
