Florient Rise

Florient Rise is a housing estate in Tai Kok Tsui comprised of three residential towers holding 522 units in total. The buildings include a swimming pool, gymnasium, and recreational facilities for residents to use.

The Urban Renewal Authority launched this transformation project in 2001, clearing the site of older mixed-use buildings. The new residential towers were completed in 2009, replacing what had stood before.

West 9 Zone, a children-themed shopping center in the development's heart, brings retail and services to residents' daily routines. This gathering space reflects how the estate was designed to blend living with community activities.

The estate sits just one minute walk from Olympic MTR Station, providing quick connections throughout the city. Being near the metro makes it easy to navigate the area without a car.

Parts of the former Hoi Ming Court still stand within the new development because residents refused to sell their properties. This unusual setting shows how private landowners could resist urban renewal in the area.
