Taikoo Li Sanlitun, Modern retail complex in Sanlitun district, Beijing, China

Taikoo Li Sanlitun spans 19 buildings across two distinct sections, featuring 200 retail establishments and dining venues within contemporary architecture structures.

The shopping center, developed by Swire Properties from Hong Kong, opened in 2008 and transformed the retail landscape of Beijing's embassy district.

Japanese architect Kengo Kuma designed the complex incorporating traditional Chinese architectural elements, including hutong layouts and siheyuan courtyard concepts.

The center connects to Beijing's transportation network through three subway lines: Line 2 at Dongsi Shitiao, Line 10 at Tuanjiehu, and Line 6 at Dongdaqiao.

The retail space spans 160,000 square meters and houses The Opposite House, a 99-room hotel integrated within the commercial development.
