Macao Studio City

Macao Studio City is a casino resort on the Cotai Strip with two hotel towers housing over 1,600 rooms. The property features extensive gaming areas alongside restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues.

Construction began in 2013 and the resort opened to guests in 2015 as one of the newer casino properties on the Cotai Strip. It arrived during a period when the region was expanding beyond traditional gaming offerings.

The design draws from Art Deco style and Hollywood's golden age, visible in decorative details throughout the public spaces. Visitors notice these film-inspired elements in the way rooms and common areas are decorated.

The resort sits centrally on the Cotai Strip and is easily reached by bus and taxi. Visitors should know that gaming areas can become crowded during peak hours, and some facilities may have different access rules throughout the day.

The Golden Reel is a figure-8 shaped Ferris wheel positioned high between the hotel towers, a design found nowhere else in the world. This distinctive feature makes the resort instantly recognizable on the skyline and gives riders unusual views of the surrounding area.
