Jardim da Cidade das Flores, Chinese garden in Taipa, Macau.

Jardim da Cidade das Flores is a rectangular Chinese-style garden park in Taipa, about 5,806 square metres, laid out between Estrada de Evora and Avenida Olimpica. Its main gate holds a 12-metre Fujian bluestone wall carved with nine dragons, and inside are a small pond with bridges, rockeries, a pavilion and covered corridors, all enclosed by yellow glazed-tile walls.

The park was completed in March 1998 and takes its name from the adjacent Flower City (花城) residential estate. When developers built those apartment blocks, they had promised to set aside part of the land for a public park as a contribution to the community, and Jardim da Cidade das Flores was built to fulfil that pledge.

The park is named after the adjacent Flower City residential estate, whose developer set aside land for it. Its Chinese name, 花城公園, means Flower City Park. The yellow glazed-tile walls carry green bamboo-shaped window grilles, and the main gate is a glazed-tile archway. The southwest open area hosts government and community association events in Taipa.

The park lies between Avenida de Evora and Avenida Olimpica in Taipa, covering about 5,806 square metres, and has four entrances, one of them a glazed-tile archway. Facilities include a children's play area, a roller-skating rink, a cobblestone foot-massage path, fitness equipment, activity rooms and public toilets. The open ground on the southwest side is used by government bodies and associations for events in Taipa.

The lotus flowers in the pond reach their peak bloom from April through September, creating pronounced seasonal transformations in the garden's appearance. During these months, the space draws more visitors who come to witness this temporary botanical display.
