Tsuen Wan Transport Complex, Transport hub in Tsuen Wan District, Hong Kong
The Tsuen Wan Transport Complex was a multi-story parking garage connected to a bus terminus located on Tai Ho Road. The facility provided parking space for vehicles and served numerous bus routes linking different areas of the city.
Construction started in 1983 and the parking garage opened in 1986 as a transportation hub. The building was demolished in 2013 after decades of service.
The complex demonstrates how Hong Kong combines different forms of transportation in a single location to manage urban density. Visitors could observe the connection between public transit and private vehicle use in the district.
Access was straightforward since all services were contained in one building. Visitors could move easily between the parking areas and bus platforms without needing to go outside.
A driving school operated on the upper floors between 1999 and 2013. This gave the location an unusual dual purpose as both a transportation hub and a training facility for drivers.
