China Congregational Church, Christian church in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.

China Congregational Church (Bridges Street) stands at 68 Bridges Street in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. The present church building opened in 1971 on the site where the congregation had built its first hall in 1901, and it carries the street number 68 assigned when the Rating and Valuation Department renumbered the property.

The American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions sent Rev. Charles Robert Hager to Hong Kong in 1883, and a Gospel Hall opened that year on the site of the present Bridges Street Market. Sun Yat-sen was baptised here under the name Sun Rixin on 4 May 1884. A new church on the present site was completed in 1901 as the Mei Wah Self-governing Church; the congregation bought back the property in 1912 and joined the Church of Christ in China in 1919. The building was rebuilt in 1970–71.

The church's name traces the congregation's path: founded as the Gospel Hall in 1883, renamed Meihua Self-governing Church in 1901, Chinese Congregational Church in 1912, and China Congregational Church in 1919 on joining the Church of Christ in China. Sun Yat-sen was baptised here under the name Sun Rixin.

The church stands at 68 Bridges Street in Sheung Wan, on Hong Kong Island, a short walk uphill from the Sheung Wan and Central MTR areas via the stepped lanes around Bridges Street and Ladder Street. The entrance faces the street at number 68.

The church's name changed with its status: founded as the Gospel Hall in 1883, it became the Chinese Congregational Church in 1912 after members raised HK$20,000 to buy back the property, then took its present name in 1919 on joining the Church of Christ in China.
