Kau Yan Tsung Tsin Church

Kau Yan Tsung Tsin Church is located in Sai Ying Pun and combines Neo-Gothic and Tudor elements on its exterior, while the interior displays Romanesque and Neo-Classical details. The Basel Mission established this building in 1932 as a continuation of a congregation that Reverend Theodore Hamberg had founded at this location in 1861. The structure was built during a period when European influences shaped Hong Kong's architectural landscape.
